The first edition of our Women in Cloud workshops took place in the beginning of February. C-level women managers from the leading Polish companies met in a spa hotel to discuss cloud technology, change management and challenges that women leaders encounter when working with IT teams that are usually dominated by men.
During the meeting Joanna Kowal from Avalon Solutions along with Magda Dziewguć from Google Cloud presented digital transformation and the way cloud is changing businesses. Anna Sieńko from PwC organised a session on current digital trends, and Ewelina Niewińska (also PwC) did a presentastion on change management.
All participants were also invited to the #IAmRemarkable session by Google as well as dance trainings prepared especially for this occasion by Rafal Maserak. Both events received highest notes in the satisfaction survey.
The Women in Cloud initiative launched by Avalon Solutions, Google Cloud and PwC was unanimously evaluated as both needed and very well organised. The satisfaction that all sessions and networking opportunities brought to leaders is a perfect starting point for the next Women in Cloud workshop.
